John Glenn Elementary First Grade

I hope this school year greets you relaxed and as happy as I am to be starting another year here at John Glenn!  We have a busy and exciting 1st grade year to look forward to!

 

I wanted to take a little time to introduce myself. This will be my 14th year at John Glenn, and my 16th in 1st grade. Prior to teaching, I was a Children’s Librarian for about 2 years.  As you can guess, I am a huge book lover! 

 

I love to garden and spend lots of time outside reading-when I am not playing with my two beautiful (and wild) dogs. They keep me very busy and entertained. I love to travel any chance I get and am always looking for a new adventure! In fact, I recently took up snorkeling and dance lessons!  I spend a lot of time with my family and enjoy learning and passing on traditions to the next generation. 

 

I am looking forward to another great year in First Grade getting to know another great group of kiddos!
