John Glenn Elementary First Grade

Hello! My name is Mrs. Nichols. I am excited to begin my eighth year teaching first grade. The 2016-2017 school year will be my fourth year at John Glenn Elementary and I am thrilled to be your teacher. It's going to be an exciting year filled with lots of learning and new adventures. I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. I am excited to get to know each and every one of you. Here is a little information about me. 

 

I was born and raised in the surrounding area.  I received my bachelor of arts degree in Elementary Education from St. Ambrose University.  I obtained my master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University.  I hope to use my master’s degree to provide many technology based projects within our first grade classroom.  My family and I live in Eldridge. We enjoy riding our bikes, playing games, and spending time with relatives and friends.
